There’s good news! You’ve got two reasons to brush up on your knowledge about cryptocurrencies. One: Luke Hemsworth is going to star in the movie. Two : There is going to be a movie based on cryptocurrencies.
Luke Hemsworth is a part of the Trio – Hemsworth Brothers. Joining him in the list of cast members are Kurt Russell, Beau Knapp, Alexis Bledel and Jeremie Harris. According to the producers Crypto is going to be a cross between The Firm and The girl with the dragon tattoo. Now isn’t that reason number 3 to anticipate the release of this film? The movie is directed by the master behind the popular movie High School – John Stalberg Jr.
The plot revolves around a young man (played by Beau Knapp) working as an Anti Money Laundering agent. Returning to his hometown in New York to investigate a case of corruption and fraud, he finds himself floating in danger amidst the underworld
The plot of the film was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, which stated that Crypto will be about a young anti-money laundering agent who is played by Beau Knapp. He returns to his hometown in New York in order to investigate a case of corruption and fraud. Russell will be playing the father of Knapp’s character, a mysterious art dealer (played by Alexis Bledel) and cryptocurrency enthusiast turned cyber sleuth (played by Jeremie Harris).
And where there is a group of people, there has to be one man that binds them all and here it is the accountant (played by Vincent Kartheiser). You might recognize the cast from popular shows they have starred in prior to this project such as Alexis Bledel in The Handmaid’s Tale, Gilmore Girls, Kurt Russell in The Hateful Eight, Luke Hemsworth in Westworld, Jeremie Harris in Legion and Vincent Kartheiser in Mad Men.
Enough about the talented cast. Let’s talk about the hands and minds behind the a script that will probably keep you at the edge of your seat the entire time. Carlyle Eubank and David Frigerio penned the story based on an original story by Jeffrey Ingber. Film Mode Entertainment holds worldwide rights for this project.
Hollywood is doing what it does best – entertaining whilst educating, according to me. They might also most likely be taking advantage of the market right now. Crypto currencies are a big deal today with so many people learning and investing their time and money into it.
But to no surprise, this isn’t the first big film based on cryptocurrency. We’ve had many:
· Bitcoin Heist
· Banking On Bitcoin
· Bitcoin: The End Of Money As We Know It
· The Rise of Cryptocurrency
The release date is yet to be announced.
