What happened at Satoshi’s Vision 2018 conference in Tokyo in March?

Could not attend Satoshi’s Vision Conference held from March 23, 2018 to March 25, 2018? Don’t worry, we’re bringing you all the happenings of the event right here!

Held in Tokyo, Japan, the Vision Conference was one of the largest Bitcoin-centric conferences. The aim of this conference was to strengthen the adoption growth of Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and on-chain scaling solutions. It was hosted by Taariq Lewis, the founder of Aquila, Bitcoin Unlimited’s Andrew Stone and Peter Rizun and many other Bitcoin Cash evangelists.

The conference began with the speech on how Bitcoin Cash can be made the best (or leading) cryptocurrency, by president of SBI Holdings subsidiary SBI bits, Jerry Chan. Daniel Krawisz discussed how he can be enticed by the BCH proponents to support BCH. There were other guests like Cornell professor Emin Gun Sirer talking about scaling Bitcoin, Emil Oldenburg discussing coloured coins and Bitcoin XT Developer, Tom Harding on on-chain scaling.

The next day featured discussions on the future of Bitcoin, by well-known personalities like BCH Tokyo co-founder Ken Shishido, Andrew Stone and Peter Rizun. Additionally, the attendees were also made aware of the economic freedom associated with Bitcoin by Bitcon.com’s CEO, Roger Ver. The day ended with a special dinner for all the guests hosted by Coingeek, a strong supporter of Bitcoin.

On the last day, Christina Storey discussed how to be a good crypto investor. Following her session, John Ellitorpe discussed the integration of Bitcoin Cash at Coinbase. The last day ended with a panel discussion on strengthening the bitcoin cash adoption and making it available on every smartphone all around the globe!

With talks and panel discussions by most renowned people in the Bitcoin Cash industry, SVC was definitely a success in the capital city of Japan!
